What about Hutt Homebirth?

Information session (currently free) voluntarily facilitated by Vida Rye (Calmbirth Educator) alongside a homebirth midwife.

It was originally started for all those who were booked in to the Birth Centre in Lower Hutt, and when it was closed, had to either birth at the hospital, or consider a homebirth.  It is now for all those who are pregnant who either want to (a) find out more about homebirth before making a decision OR (b) who have already decided to plan a homebirth.

NEXT ONE:  Date to be advised.  Usually on a Saturday from 9:30am (3 hrs) FREE but a koha would be appreciated.

Register below if you are interested in a future session and  you will go on a waitlist and be contacted when the next one is arranged.

Homebirth Workshop will give information about the safety of, and evidence for homebirth, and talk about the practicalities of homebirth.
It will be an open and informal info session which will tailor itself to the participants present, with an opportunity for people to ask questions.

There are limited spaces on this session, but if there is enough interest, we can put further sessions on according to due times of the participants.
